&lt;p&gt;&lt;img style= &quot;border-top-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; float: right; border-bottom-width: 0px; margin: 0.2em 0px 1.4em 0.7em; border-right-width: 0px&quot; alt=&quot;&quot; src= &quot;http://cyn.blogspirit.com/images/medium_15_degrees_reduced.2.jpg&quot; /&gt;Last night was my &quot;appearance&quot; on Jewels Way Internet radio show.&amp;nbsp; It's amazing how fast an hour really goes!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I am thrilled so many of you sent email questions for the broadcast.&amp;nbsp; Thank you for your support.&amp;nbsp; Jewel wasn't able to read all the questions!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;There was one question sent in, she felt inappropriate for the air, as she felt it was a bit too personal.&amp;nbsp; A listener who knows me well asked if I still carried a steak knife in my purse on first dates.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;First off, there haven't been any first dates in quite some time. :)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Secondly, there was a time when I had a steak knife in my purse for TWO first dates.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;The first ocassion was nearly twenty-five years ago.&amp;nbsp; I received a phone call from a photographic studio to purchase a portrait package.&amp;nbsp; The photographer was in the town I was working in, became enamored of my voice, and asked me out.&amp;nbsp; Unthinkingly, I said yes.&amp;nbsp; Later, rethinking the decision, I put a knife in my purse, the sharpest one I had in my apartment.&amp;nbsp; You guessed it, a steak knife.&amp;nbsp; He ended up being a nice guy, and I dated him for almost a year. :)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Thing is, I didn't carry that purse around much.&amp;nbsp; So, I forgot the knife was in there, and it went on another first date.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This one turned out even better.&amp;nbsp; I ended up marrying him.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;And that, dear readers, is the rest of the story.&lt;/p&gt;
