Some time ago I bought a dream tool  box.  A nice artist and a nice author put together Box of Dreams with a collection of words and images meant to be used as tools to interpret your dreams.  I've found the idea of thinking of the outstanding features of your dreams and then finding a card that is related to those symbols interesting.  On some levels it reminds me of reading tarot cards.

What do I mean by that?  Just that a large number of tarot readers read interpretively.  They ask you what you see in the card before any sort of meaning/prediction/revelation is supplied.  On one hand this is highly manipulative of an individual paying for a reading, YET, I was surprised when several members of a group I was in selected RANDOM cards and had a connection to that card so strong it bordered on outright shocking.

So, what I want to know is two-fold.  Do you believe in dreams?  In what way?

Second, do you believe in the ability of tarot cards to reveal something significant about you, or are the users of the cards just good at finding ways to get you to connect to the card?
